Chris Connelly - Pianist

Chris covers a wide variety of styles and artists including jazz, 30s-70s standards, show tunes, easy listening, Sinatra, Billy Joel, Elton John and more.  He is a reading musician so if you have any specific requests for your event, these can be arranged in advance.

Lack of a (playable!) piano, space or impractical locations can often be obstacles to enjoying live piano, as can be the cost of hiring an acoustic piano. However, Chris will bring his superb digital piano where required. (along with amplification to cope with everything from dining rooms to ballrooms.) 

It must be stressed that the quality of such instruments is  now at a level where they allow a sound not unlike an acoustic piano, rather than a distinctly ‘electronic’ tone.

If you are planning a wedding, Chris can play for the ceremony as well as the reception.  His digital piano has an excellent 'Church Organ' sound if you require the traditional Hymns and Wagner/Mendelssohn bridal marches.
