Orwell Ceilidh Band
Getting their name form the parish of Orwell in Kinross, the Orwell Ceilidh band stay with the tried and trusted format of well known, easy Scottish Ceilidh Dances. The Orwell Ceilidh band sound is lively with a variety of instruments adding to the traditional accordion sound. Something enjoyed by both young and old alike! Each member of the band have many years experience, having toured with different bands and appearing on live radio broadcasts. The drummer, Laura is well versed in the art of calling the dances. "The band consists of Gail on accordion, her husband Neil on pipes, whistle etc. and Laura on drums. They received the biggest cheer of the night as a result of their performance.
