Sound Edge are one of the most popular Midlands-based rock and pop covers bands with an extensive repertoire spanning seven decades.

All three members are multi-instrumentalists with a wealth of experience releasing records, recording BBC radio sessions (John Peel, Steve Lamacq, Tom Robinson, Huw Stephens) and touring throughout the world in original bands, playing at numerous well-known venues (London Brixton Academy, Nottingham Rock City, New York Knitting Factory, Austin Emo's) and festivals (Reading/Leeds, Dot To Dot, CMJ New York).

Since their formation in 2009, Sound Edge have become a regular attraction in and around the Midlands, while providing entertainment at weddings further afield in London and around the UK. As a classic three-piece line-up of guitar/vocals, bass/vocals, and drums/vocals, the band delivers authentic full- sounding covers from 60s classic artists including Van Morrison and The Kinks, right through to more modern artists like Robbie Williams and Kings Of Leon.

Sound Edge provide background music on an iPod and laptop when the band isn’t playing and have their own high quality PA and stage lighting. The band usually perform for two one-hour or three 40-minute sets. They may even throw in an unscheduled bandaoke session if anyone fancies their chances as an X-factor wannabe - lyrics screens and song lists are provided - but please let us know in advance.
