Marcus performed 2 sets at our wedding, one during the reception drinks and the 2nd during our wedding breakfast. Both were brilliant and all our guests really enjoyed his performances. It was quite a last minute decision to book a musician for our wedding but we were so happy with our choice to have Marcus, he even played some requested songs from our guests that hadnt been on his original song list which was amazing. Our guests couldnt praise him enough and had nothing but good things to say! Would definitely recommend Marcus to anyone considering a musician for their wedding or any other event really!

From initial contact through to the event, Marcus was the ultimate professional. He learnt four new songs that we were particularly keen to have as part of our set list, we were not disappointed – in fact I don’t think we would have known they were new to him, if we hadn’t asked for them. Additionally, we were able to choose from his repertoire and the order for each set flowed well. An added bonus was that Marcus was able to have background music playing between sessions which was perfect. I have no hesitation in recommending Marcus for your event.

Marcus was a fantastic addition to our family celebration. We were a small group but he managed to make us jump to the “dance floor “. Everybody had an amazing time, he is an excellent musician, great voice and a lovely person, very polite, and willing to accommodate his vast repertoire with our requests. We hired Marcus for 2 x 45 minute sets for our garden party. The whole experience from start to finish was a pleasure, excellent correspondence, punctual arrival, a huge repertoire of songs to choose from, and he said he would learn a couple of new ones too for us, which he did, and they were incredible. Ask for Tennessee Whisky, he does it better than Chris Stapleton! He could easily charge double what he does, and justify it with confidence, I would go as far as to say, that he is the best live solo artist we have ever seen. This young man is supremely talented, and very hard working, and if you are lucky enough to find a date when he is not busy ... book him ... you will not regret it. Thank you Marcus for making our party an incredible success. All the very best for the future.

Marcus played during the ceremony and drinks reception of our wedding. He was absolutely perfect, his repertoire is so wide and he was happy to play all the songs we wanted. I think his voice sounds even better in real life than online! I would highly recommend him for any event!

Marcus was excellent from start to finish, he played for our afternoon drinks reception and was brilliant. He was very accommodating by setting up both inside and outside a few times whilst the weather kept changing.
He was also very friendly to our guests who went over to talk to him and even learnt our favourite songs for us with only 2 weeks before the wedding.

Marcus was a dream to work with, especially during such topsy turvy times! He handled all curve balls thrown at him (including learning last minute that singing was not allowed during the ceremony) with grace and professionalism, and provided lovely background guitar and vocals for our ceremony and drinks reception. Our wedding and reception at the penthouse and pavilion at the Dorchester. Marcus came ahead of time, set up and seamlessly moved between the different rooms for the ceremony and reception. He was extremely professional, and with minimal guidance from us, played a beautiful selection of songs that set the mood perfectly without interrupting the flow of the ceremony or conversation. 'I hired Marcus to sing for a private dinner I planed for my boyfriend’s birthday. Where do I begin. I am a self confessed perfectionist but when I started planning our wedding I was looking for a singer during our drinks reception and wedding breakfast. Marcus was AMAZING. If you want perfection but are unsure or in doubt, book Marcus and you will not be let down. He was truly brilliant. Set up on time, all of our guests commented on his performance and how amazing he was. We were gutted when it had to end. Thank you Marcus, you were brilliant!

After researching various places for a solo guitarist/singer for our private function we found Marcus. From initial contact through to performing on the day he was accommodating, helpful and an excellent performer. He even learned new material especially for us and played several sets into the night. I don't normally give such a high rating for things but I am unable to find fault with everything he did and all of our guests commented on how great he was so the rating is justly deserved and I have no hesitation in recommending him and would certainly use him again. Marcus really made our perfect day complete, he sang and played guitar doing three sets throughout the day, and did an outstanding job. Marcus sang for us at a private dining party. He gave us a very good range of songs and his style was perfect for our evening. Simply put Marcus was absolutely sensational. We had booked Marcus for a 3 hour slot at our wedding to play to our guests as they arrived at the venue, and to play in the background during our wedding breakfast. His communication throughout from the day we booked him was excellent. He arrived early, no fuss, set up and started to play.

To be honest I didn't even see him arrive he just did. He started to play in the venue but as the weather was so hot everyone was outside, so he just came out played outside and performed again no fuss. We sat down for our wedding breakfast and he performed in the background. Not overpowering just very nice background music. His repertoire of songs is first class and includes loads of well known songs by big artists.

Marcus performs these songs with his own spin perfectly. We had also asked at short notice if he could learn one or two other songs to play on the day which he did no problem at all. One Man, One Guitar, One fantastic Voice. If you want to introduce some class to your event then you must book this man. Thank you Marcus for helping us make our day a truly memorable one. Marcus was awesome, he played the perfect which was 'perfect' by Ed Sheeran for my sister's entrance song and other songs to celebrate the civil wedding. His voice is beautiful and he plays really well. Lots of guests complimented the the music after the ceremony. Alongside this he was super professional, he gave us a choice of songs which we can pick too. We booked Marcus last minute and he was super quick to respond and help.
