Solid State is an Scottish wedding and function band based in Ayrshire providing a polished professional performance both in their home county and across Scotland.
Made up of four very talented musicians, Solid State know exactly how to create a great atmosphere at your wedding or event. They enjoy what they do and this comes across clearly at every booking.
The band supplies all the equipment required, all they need is a power supply and some space to set up. You could say that Solid State offer a party in a box!
The band is constantly rehearsing and learning new songs so that their set list really does have something to suit everyone. They'll cater for all your guests, young and young at heart - with classic floor fillers from the last fifty years right up to current chart hits. You'll have no excuse not to dance.
Fancy a wee ceilidh set? No problem, the band will have you burling round the dance floor in short order with all the dances called (explained) for the out of practice and the terminally English :-)
The band consists of drums, bass, guitar plus male and female vocals, giving the band the ability to cover songs other bands would just not attempt.
