The Soul Stars are an 8 piece Pop, Soul, Funk and Motown covers band, featuring some of the busiest and best musicians in the South West.
The band pride themselves on their eclectic repertoire, and the energy and musicianship that is put into every performance.
Having collectively performed at hundreds of weddings and functions with countless other bands, The Soul Stars came together to build on all their experiences and focus on music that they were passionate about.
For the icing on the cake, an additional cocktail pianist, jazz duo, trio or quartet will make your event truly magical and unforgettable. The members of The Soul Stars are all highly proficient jazz musicians, and will keep guests toes tapping to well known numbers by the likes of Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and Duke Ellington. Both the trio & quartet line can work around your sound requirements and taste. Rose was blown away by your special arrangement of Waiting All Night, and the first dance [La Vie En Rose] was perfect. We’d highly recommend you guys, absolute professionals all round!
James [drummer] introduced us to The Soul Stars after we asked if he had anything appropriate for our wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed! They made working round our schedule very easy, and had a great selection of songs. It really brought the night together and made it special.
The Soul Stars, thank you! You guys rocked, and played the perfect mix of songs for all the guests to enjoy. We all loved hearing the 90s tunes as that’s what we all grew up with. Also thanks for bearing with us whilst we had technical difficulties getting our MP3s to play, and for still playing the full set despite starting having to start later!
I booked Soul Stars last minute due to a cancellation; they were extremely helpful and quickly tied up all the loose ends so that the event was back on track. The performance itself was outstanding - a particular highlight was having a room of over 60s singing along to Justin Timberlake. We will definitely be booking them again for our bi-annual party.
