The plan?
The original idea was simple. Create a hugely entertaining function party band that performs classic party music and is ultimately a lot of fun. 15 years after first conception and The Talent has the same core team of seasoned professionals, developed an unrivalled sound, performed with some of the biggest names in the music business and fundamentally still have an absolute love for what they do.

Many events are from recommendations and The Talent pride themselves on being one of the busiest bands in the country. The band regularly perform 3-4 nights a week all over the U.K. & Europe supporting named artists or entertaining clients at many prestigious private & corporate events including functions for Barclays Bank, London Stock Exchange, Sky, Tescos PLC, BP, Abbey National, World Scout Association & the BBC.

Along the way The Talent has performed Flying Without Wings with Westlife, Let Me Entertain You with Robbie Williams, The Look Of Love with ABC and played Boogie Woogie with Jools Holland to name but a few. They have also performed at many of Europe's top venues including Earls Court, Royal Albert Hall, Birmingham N.E.C. and the world famous Wembley Arena. The Talent's reputation recently enabled them to perform in front of Prince William & 48,000 Scouts rom over 120 different countries at the 21st World Scout Jamboree. Dear Hireaband - Very happy with the Talent. The choice of music was good and they got people dancing. The manager of the venue also remarked that the guys were very pleasant and that she would recommend them in future. Hi Barrie - just wanted to drop you a quick line to say thanks to The Talent for the fantastic live music at our wedding in Essex. They were excellent and really made the evening. I guess it's always a bit touch and go when you book a band that you haven't seen play live before, but honestly, we thought they were excellent and we had nothing at all to worry about. Hi Barrie. I just wanted to pass on our heartfelt thanks to the Talent for their performance at our wedding on Monday 26th October at Smeetham Hall Barn in Sudbury, Suffolk. The band were AMAZING. Everyone commented afterwards on how professional and entertaining they were. Our day was perfect in every way, there was NOTHING we would have changed ? so please do pass on our thanks and let me know if you would like me to write a review for you guys. Hello Barrie, Just wanted to say a huge thank you for performing at our wedding. You rocked. Everyone has complimented you and several asked for your bands details. The Talent really made the evening reception. I hope you got enough to eat/drink too. I've just about got over the slow dance to Robbie Williams (haha) but there are some amazing photos from that particular part. My youngest cousin, who is now your biggest fan, definitely had a good time, I hope he hasn't been stalking you or anything weird like that ... but he will at the very least never forget our wedding. Anther memorable part that was ultimately your responsibility was the brides father swinging his jacket off to sex on fire! Classic! We cannot thank you enough for such a great set! One resounding statement from the night was how the drummer was singing and drumming and both so well at once. Perhaps you should be called the multi-Talent-ed. Hi Guys, Now we are back home and back to reality I wanted to send you a quick email to say thank you so much for providing an amazing evening of music at our wedding. Hi Barrie, We would just like to say a huge THANK YOU to you all for a fantastic evenings live music, far better than any disco!!! Just what we asked for, Fun & funky with no Abba. The Talent were superb, we had a great night and our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves commenting on how good the band were. Lots of dancing from young and old, some we were not too sure if they should have but at least they enjoyed themselves. Thank you also for accompanying us for our first dance, we loved every minute of it even though we forgot the moves :o) We would recommend The Talent to anyone.
