60s Tribute Acts in Northamptonshire

Book a 60s tribute band in Northamptonshire

From function rooms at hotels around Northampton and Kettering to golf and social clubs near Kettering, and marquees going up in back gardens across Northamptonshire, a 60s tribute act in Northamptonshire can turn a party into a proper show. Milestone birthdays, anniversaries, themed nights and company celebrations all suit a 60s tribute act — and the act has to work just as well in a village hall as it does in a hotel ballroom.

Beatles songs, Motown and the Merseybeat sound still fill a dance floor, and they cross the generations better than almost any other decade: grandparents know every word, and so do their grandchildren. Our 60s tribute acts cover The Beatles, the Four Seasons, Diana Ross and the Supremes, Cher and the great Motown and soul acts of the decade, from solo performers singing to backing tracks through to full live bands, most performing in costume as part of the show. Acts on our books include The Essential Beatles, Just John and Paul, The Essential Jersey Boys, The Essential Diana Ross & Motown Show, Soul Sensations, Peachy Beat and The Authentic 60s.

We've been booking live entertainment since 1999, and every act on this page covers Northamptonshire. Most bring their own sound and lighting and handle the set-up and pack-down themselves. The instant quote button shows the price, availability and exactly what's included for your date.

Across Northamptonshire, tribute nights take place everywhere from country houses to hotel suites and private marquees. Popular venues in Northamptonshire include Fawsley Hall, Dodford Manor and Dodmoor House, and our acts regularly travel to parties in and around Northampton and Kettering. Tell us where you're holding yours and we'll suggest acts that suit the room.

The essentials:

  • Typical cost: £500 to £2,000, depending on line-up, date and season
  • Your quote shows exactly what's included, from travel to PA and lighting
  • Line-ups from solo tribute artists to full live tribute bands
  • Most parties book several months ahead, sooner for a summer Saturday or December
  • Every booking carries a 14-day change-of-mind refund

The right line-up depends on the room and the budget more than the guest list. Solo tributes perform to professional backing tracks, need very little floor space and are the most affordable option. A duo or full live band brings real instruments, more volume and more of a concert feel, which suits a larger hall or a bigger crowd. Tell us about the venue and we'll point you towards what fits.

Expect to pay somewhere between £500 and £2,000. The biggest factor is the line-up: a solo tribute to backing tracks costs less than a full live band. The date matters too, with Saturdays in summer and December in highest demand, while weekday and off-season dates often cost less. Your quote lists exactly what's included, with no extras added later.

Before you book, watch and listen. Every act here has its own page with genuine video and audio of their performance, a complete set list and written reviews from previous clients, so you can compare how each tribute looks and sounds and choose the one that suits your guests.

Enter your date and venue in the instant quote to see prices and availability immediately. When you've picked your act, we take care of the contract, deposit and arrangements, and keep in touch right up to the party. You also get a 14-day change-of-mind refund on every booking and an emergency contact line on the night.

Everything from Beatles and Four Seasons tributes to Motown and soul shows and all-round 60s party bands playing the decade's biggest hits.

Yes — the songs of the 60s are known across generations, which is why a 60s act is a popular pick for milestone birthdays and anniversaries.

Yes — a marquee or a large room at home is a common setting, and a solo tribute in particular needs very little space. The same act can just as easily play a hotel function room or a social club the next weekend.

Usually, yes. Solo and duo tributes need only a small performance area and a standard power supply; for a full band, tell us the room and we'll check the line-up fits comfortably.

Typically £500 to £2,000, depending mainly on whether it's a solo tribute or a full live band, and on the date. Your quote shows exactly what's included.

“If you weren’t at the already legendary Eel Pie gig 2018... you missed out! In the future thousands will claim to have been there. Looking forward to the next one already ...”

“So good we paid them to stay longer! We hired the two piece band for my Mum's surprise 60th party and we were really impressed with them. Everyone at the party loved them and were saying how good they were. I would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again in the future”

“I would just like to write and say a huge thank you to The Essential Jersey Boys for their performance on Friday night at our black tie Wintertime Ball. They were very professional, sounded amazing and it was a pleasure to have them around. They were easy to talk to, asked for nothing but gave a lot. The band were just like having Frankie Valli and the 4 seasons here, great sound, everyone dancing and all our guests had nothing but positive comments. Great band, great bunch of lads. Thank you.”

“Wow just wow.
We have just had Soul Sensations at our Music on the Prom event althrough the weather wasn't the best (wind and rain) these guys put on a cracking show. We have seen Motown acts before but nothing like this. The high energy, the dance moves, the vocals, the harmonising - oh my the harmonising. What a show, what a performance, what a day. We would highly recommend Soul Sensations and hopefully we will see them again at Music on the Prom. Just get them booked!”

“Extremely happy with the band, they made the night! Everybody has been commenting on how good they were. The quality and choice of the music was perfect they had everyone from the kids too our grandparents dancing. Would definitely recommend The Essential 60's to everyone. Could you please pass on our apologies to the band, as it was such a busy night we did not have chance to thank to the band properly and we would have liked too!”

“Closing the evening out was the superbly presented three-girl vocal and dance act
The Angelettes.
This Motown-tribute show, performed by a trio of stunningly clad brunettes, could
conceivably become a market-leading attraction on this showing. Large theatrestyle
cruise venues must be the natural target for this act.
Image and dance skills dovetail perfectly here with considerable vocal ability.
This is an act which, if pitched correctly, could be one of the cabaret finds of 2012.”
