Mariachi & Latin Bands in the North East

Mariachi and Latin bands across the North East

Finding the right mariachi or Latin band is easier when you can see every option in one place. This page covers all of the North East, from Darlington, Gateshead, Middlesbrough and Alnwick, and every act listed travels to venues across the region for weddings, fiestas and themed parties.

This region page covers Durham, Middlesbrough, Newcastle upon Tyne and Northumberland. If you already know which area your venue is in, the links below take you to the page for that area, with venues and acts picked for it.

From Ramside Hall Hotel and The Parlour at Blagdon to Gisborough Hall, Charlton Hall, Black Horse Beamish and Wylam Brewery, the venues across the North East range from grand country houses to barns, hotels and city spaces. Our acts are used to adapting to all of them.

Across the North East you can choose from mariachi groups, salsa bands and Latin party acts. Most will take a few requests ahead of the day, and many can learn a special song if you ask.

Hireaband has been booking live entertainment since 1999. Every band listed here covers the North East, and PA, lighting and travel are included in the quote you receive. Use the instant quote button on this page to check prices and availability for your date.

What to know:

  • Budget £500 to £2,500 for most bookings
  • Every quote includes PA, lighting and travel
  • Travel within the North East is never added on later
  • Many acts offer longer or extra sets if you need them
  • Every booking is covered by a 14-day change-of-mind refund

Most acts perform two or three sets, with playlist music or a break in between. Share your running order when you enquire, including any special moments, and we'll build the quote around it.

Expect to pay from around £500 up to £2,500 or more for a larger line-up. The act, the date and your set times make the biggest difference. Every quote includes PA, lighting and travel, so nothing is added later.

Each act's page carries real video, audio, a song list and reviews from previous clients. A couple of clips will tell you far more about how an act works a room than any description can.

The instant quote button gives you a price and availability for your date straight away. From there, we manage the contract and deposit and keep you updated until the event. Every booking is covered by a 14-day change-of-mind refund, and there's an emergency contact line on the day in case anything needs sorting.

FAQs

The category covers traditional mariachi groups, salsa and Cuban bands, Brazilian samba and bossa nova acts, Latin jazz ensembles and Latin party bands that also play chart hits. Each act's page shows its style, line-up and song list.

Yes, that's what mariachi does best. Most mariachi groups play acoustically, so they can move between tables or around a garden during a drinks reception, a meal or a fun day. Check the act's page or ask us when you enquire.

Most do. Mariachi groups usually perform in charro suits and sombreros, and many salsa and Latin party bands have their own stage outfits. The photos and videos on each act's page show exactly what to expect.

Most do. Stage and dance bands bring their own PA; acoustic and strolling acts may need nothing at all. Larger line-ups need floor space and power nearby, so it's worth checking both with your venue, along with any sound limiter.

From around £500 for a smaller act to £2,500 or more for a larger band. The number of musicians, the date and the length of the booking make the biggest difference, and travel is always included in the quote.

Yes. Many couples book a mariachi group or a bossa nova trio for the drinks reception, then a salsa or Latin party band for the evening. Some acts can cover both, and we can suggest combinations when you enquire.
