Mumford and Sons Style Bands

Mumford and Sons single-handedly introduced the concept of combined folk and pop music to a whole new audience. The mix of driving and dance-able rhythms and fantastically hooky choruses explains the massive popularity of this genre.  In fact this is the only specifically band related category that we have on the entire Hireaband web site, all 2000 pages of it!

Because of the wide appeal of Mumford and Sons and the variety and scope of the music they produce, it can be difficult to define exactly what a Mumford and Sons style band really is.  So how did we decide on which bands to list here for your consideration?  Well, first of all, we looked at the songs each band has at its disposal. That may seem obvious but getting it right has as much to do with how a song is performed as it is with which songs are performed.
