Jewish Wedding & Event Bands in the East of England

Jewish wedding and event bands across the East of England

From Chelmsford, Ipswich, Cambridge, Bedford, Hertford and Norwich, the East of England has a huge choice of venues and a busy calendar of weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs and simchas. The Jewish wedding and event bands on this page cover the whole region, and many play several dates a month within it.

This region page covers Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. If you already know which area your venue is in, the links below take you to the page for that area, with venues and acts picked for it.

Popular venues across the region include Vaulty Manor, Lanwades Hall, The Guildhall, Moreteyne Manor, Knebworth House & Barns and Hockwold Hall. Tell us your venue when you enquire and we can usually say which acts have played there before.

Across the East of England you can choose from simcha bands, klezmer groups and showbands with a full Jewish and Israeli repertoire. Most will take a few requests ahead of the day, and many can learn a special song if you ask.

Since 1999, Hireaband has matched acts with clients right across the country. The Jewish wedding and event bands here all cover the East of England and include PA, lighting and travel in the price. The instant quote button shows pricing and availability for your date in seconds.

At a glance:

  • Most Jewish wedding and event bands cost between £1,500 and £4,000
  • PA, lighting and travel are included in the price you're quoted
  • One page covering every area of the East of England
  • Popular acts book up early for busy dates, so enquire soon
  • A 14-day change-of-mind refund comes with every booking

The East of England is a large area, so it's worth mentioning your venue's exact location when you enquire. Acts based nearby often have more availability and more experience of local venues, and we'll point you towards them.

Smaller line-ups typically start from around £1,500, while bigger acts can reach £4,000 or more. Summer Saturdays and December are the busiest dates. The price in your quote includes PA, lighting and travel, so it won't change once you've booked.

Rather than a generic demo, every act's page shows the actual line-up you'd be booking, with videos, audio and a song list. Underneath are reviews from clients, often at venues you'll recognise.

Use the instant quote button on this page to see prices and availability for your date. Once you've chosen an act, we handle the contract, the deposit and the arrangements, and stay in touch through to the day. Every booking includes a 14-day change-of-mind refund, and an emergency contact line is available on the day if anything needs sorting quickly.

FAQs

Yes. Every band in this category plays a hora and Israeli dance set, including Hava Nagila and other favourites, and will agree the songs and timing with you before the day.

Many can. Some bands offer an acoustic or klezmer set for the ceremony or drinks reception before the main evening set. Mention it when you enquire and we'll include it in the quote.

Yes. Bands bring their own PA and lighting. Larger showbands need a good-sized stage area and power nearby, so it's worth checking both with your venue, along with any sound limiter.

From around £1,500 for a smaller band to £4,000 or more for a large showband. The number of musicians, the date and the length of the evening make the biggest difference, and travel is always included in the quote.

Yes. Bands experienced with simchas are used to fitting their sets around courses, speeches and the chair lift. They'll agree a running order with you and your caterer or planner in advance.

For weekend weddings and bar mitzvahs, a year or more ahead is common, as the most popular bands book up early. For other dates, a few months' notice is often enough.
