Outstandingly talented singer & songwriter Michael Bennett is a highly  experienced acoustic performer based in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Taking his influence from legendary artists of the likes of Noel Gallagher, The Smiths and Bob Dylan, Michael offers a unique take on popular music with an enviable repertoire consisting of 60’s classics all the way up to contemporary pop songs

At the tender age of 22, Michael has already established himself as top musician, performing on the same bill as acts such as Jake Bugg, Willy Mason, Lucy Rose & The 1975. He is Songwriter, Vocalist and Guitarist for the original material indie band Motion Tourist, with which he has achieved high acclaim from the likes of Amazing Radio and BBC 6 Music's Tom Robinson, amongst notable others.

As a solo cover artist, Michael is able to indulge himself by performing songs from some of his favourite recording musicians. Expect to find an eclectic set featuring Johnny Cash, The Smiths, Mumford & Sons, The Lumineers, Bob Marley, The Stone Roses, Arctic Monkeys, The Beatles, Oasis, Daft Punk, Radiohead and the ever-expanding list goes on and on!

Suitable for a number of occasions, Michael can offer a more intimate acoustic set for wedding daytime entertainment as well as a more lively set to get people dancing at evening functions!
