Rachel Hair is one of one of the world's finest young players of the clarsach, the Scottish harp.
Described as “One of Scotland’s Brightest Young Harpists” (The Scotsman) and as “A Gifted Exponent of the Harp” (Net Rhythms), Rachel Hair is one of the country's most popular harp players. Having released 2 critically acclaimed albums, and obtained a first class honours music degree, she has performed throughout the UK, Europe, the USA and Asia both as a soloist and as a member of the ‘Rachel Hair Trio’.
The perfect choice for wedding ceremonies, drinks receptions, corporate and private events, Rachel’s beautiful music will make your occasion one to remember.
One of Scotland’s most experienced wedding harpists, she performs regularly at the countries top venues including Edinburgh Castle, Stirling Castle, Cameron House and Gleneagles and is happy to discuss any specific musical requests brides may have.
Rachel is also a popular choice for music at corporate events and her stunning performances have taken her around the world to entertain companies in Spain, France, Germany and even China.
She had the honour to perform for Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness Prince Philip during one of their many visits to Scotland. Hireaband had the responsibility for arranging the booking and Rachel excelled as usual.
