The Wedding Gospel Choir bring their beautiful Gospel tones to anything from an intimate reception to a full production with accompanying band, always guaranteed to make an impact, whatever the event.

The Wedding Gospel Choir, with their unique blend of close harmonies and ability to mix traditional gospel with jazz, soul, blues, classical and latin styles, can be hired as a 4/5 singers with keys right up to full 20 strong choir and full band. They bring their positive attitude and professionalism to EVERY performance and can be hired for all occasions such as weddings, tours, church events, private functions or openings.

The group was started in 2007 by Harlano and have become an established act in the European gospel scene. As well as performing at venue's such as the Jazz Cafe, the Pigalle Club and Handlebeurs, their members have also provided backing for high profile artists such as Mariah Carey, Leona Lewis, Enrique Iglesias, Phil Collins, Beverley Knight, Mica Paris, Alfie Boe, Peter Andre and Marsha Ambrosius.

Their standard performance length is 45 minutes, however they also offer the option of extending this to 2 x 30 minutes - perfect for a wedding drinks reception.

The Wedding Gospel Choir made our wedding just magical. We watched their youtube videos all through lockdown and waited until we could guarantee that they were available on our date. We lost track of how many of our guests told us that they were blown away by the choir and their voices. We couldn't imagine choosing anyone else to sing at our wedding. They also sang for the cocktail hour and let the guests join in and interacted with them throughout - including our baby nephew! FAQs

How far in advance should we book?

As soon as you know your date. Weekends, especially in summer, can book up 12 months or more ahead, so the earlier you secure The Wedding Gospel Choir, the better. We can sometimes help at a few weeks' notice too, so it's always worth asking.

What's your payment and cancellation policy?

A £250 reservation fee secures your date, and the balance is due 30 days before the event. If you cancel more than three months before, you only lose the reservation fee. Charges then rise on a sliding scale, and the full amount is due within one month of the date. Your booking agreement sets out the exact terms.

What if the timings change after we book?

That's fine. Plans often change as the day gets closer. Just let the Hireaband team know, and we'll check the new timings with The Wedding Gospel Choir and update your booking. If you'd like to add more performance time or another act later on, we can arrange that too.

What should we expect if we've never booked an act through Hireaband before?

We'll guide you from your first enquiry to the day itself. You'll get a written booking agreement, a clear quote and a named contact. Hireaband is free to use, and with the Hireaband Price Promise you'll never pay more for an act than by booking anywhere else.

How much contact will we have with the act before the event?

We'll put you in touch with The Wedding Gospel Choir around three months before your date, so you can go through timings, music choices and any special requests together. Until then, the Hireaband team are on hand to answer any questions.

Can we see the act perform before booking?

Most performances are at private events, so it isn't always possible to see an act live. The videos, audio and client reviews on this page are the best way to get a feel for The Wedding Gospel Choir. If you'd like to know more, the Hireaband team are happy to talk it through with you.

How far will you travel?

Many of our acts perform across the UK. Any quote you receive already includes travel, so there are no surprise extras. For longer journeys an overnight stay may be needed, and we'll tell you before you book.

Are you insured?

If your venue asks for public liability insurance or electrical safety (PAT) certificates, let the Hireaband team know. We'll get the paperwork from The Wedding Gospel Choir and send it to your venue.

Will we need to provide anything on the day?

This depends on the act and how long they're with you. Some need a space to get ready, parking, or a meal if they're with you for several hours. We'll confirm The Wedding Gospel Choir's requirements with you before the day, so there are no surprises.

What happens if the performer is ill on the day?

It's very rare, but if it happens we'll find a suitable replacement. Hireaband is one of the UK's largest entertainment agencies, with hundreds of acts on our books, so we can usually cover your event even at short notice.
